I’ve been where you’ve been. I’ve been a mother, a sister, and a daughter, and I, too, have struggled to find solutions to my daily struggles. Whether it was a quarrel between my children or a disagreement with my siblings or my parents, there were times that I simply did not know how to tackle the issue. I wanted to have increased love and harmony in my home and in my relationships, but the answer to my problem was not always clear. It was then that I realized that I had to better understand the concepts behind healthy family relationships.
I decided to take real action. If I wanted to better understand my family, I needed to become an expert on the concepts that built strong families. I went back to school and, at 50, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Human Relations. What I learned was life-changing, and to this day, I am extremely grateful for, not only the concepts I mastered, but also the lives I’ve been able to touch because of my ability to turn around and teach those concepts to other families that were struggling with similar issues.
Strong families can build strong individuals, and those individuals can build the kind of world we all dream of.
